Awesome- I'm a sucker for banderols. I love how it inverts into itself.... or whatever it's doing there. Do I see some aquatint? It's so subtle and delicate!

Banderols are great. Best word balloons around. The tone is actually just plate tone. The highlights were made using an eraser to take the plate tone off when the prints were all dry.

Only things to watch out for are letting the ink dry completely so it doesn't smear and not erasing so much you tear up the surface of the paper. It's pretty easy and it makes for a nice extra level of highlight. Not terrible entertaining to do on a large edition, but if you're printing a large edition you probably already know what you are getting yourself into.
